Eason's Experiments

Book history

List of recommended books

January 2026

Every time I start reading this book I stop halfway and forget about it for a month. Rinse and repeat for over a year. The 48 laws of power was an interesting book, but honestly I think this author just knows how to write good hooks without following through all the way, but hey I haven’t even finished this yet, so maybe i’ll think differently once I finally finish this thing.

MASTERY

by Robert Greene

November and December 2025

was too busy these two months to read anything

NOTHING

by no one

October 2025

I saw this book while working a shift at my library, and decided to borrow it on a whim. I’ve always wondered how my name has affected my life. I’ve met Ethans, Jasons, and even an Easton, but never another Eason. I figure this book will give me some insight on other people’s perception of what is impossible for me to analyze without bias.

Psychologie des prénoms

by Nicolas Guéguen

September 2025

I had this book recommended to me by my professor. Im only a fifth of the way through and I feel my brain getting bigger already. Maybe in the future i’ll buy a newer version and compare how different the information is between the fourth and future edition.

THE CELL

by Bruce Almberts et al.

August 2025

The second in the Hyperion series. First one isn’t too bad, lots of interesting characters, and just like the best cooked meat, it simmers awhile. The pay off is worth it though.

The Fall of Hyperion

by Dan Simmons

July 2025

My freind Xander told me in highschool that i would love the show that was made from this book series. He was right, it’s one of my all time favorites. The anime however, is perfectly designed to sell the manga, and while it got me hook line and sinker, and it took me a couple years to start reading it, buying all the books isn’t cheap so I read them all online.
